Getting to knooow youuu
Hi folx! I'm Carlyn Jade Batya Barenholtz (she/they). I am a born-and-raised New Yorker who returned this fall after an amazing contract in the 47th mainstage cast of the Disney Wonder (where I sailed to Alaska and got to walk on glaciers and hold baby sled dogs. Life is good.)
I earned my BFA in Musical Theater from Boston Conservatory @ Berklee College of Music, and I am also a proud alumna of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in NYC, where I majored in Vocal Music.
I am currently training in NYC with Actor Therapy and Jared Trudeau at BroadwayVox
When I'm not doing the performing thing, you can find me working at a sushi restaurant in Midtown, binge-reading on my kindle, or reveling in my full-time job as a cat mom to my Maine Coon mutt, Beatrice (proudly named for "Much Ado About Nothing"). I am also recently back to brunette after a year of being blonde. So yes. I am very brave.
